We’re opening an internal opportunity for a team member to step into a role focused on IT strategy, technology operations, and ongoing systems optimisation.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical capability, helping shape the long-term IT direction for Deckard while also supporting daily operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

IT Systems & Application Administration

• Govern and manage business applications, including:
  • Atlassian Suite
  • Google Workspaces
  • Other internal SaaS tools
• Maintain system documentation, standards, and IT policies

Operational Efficiency & Process Optimisation

• Improve HR ↔ IT onboarding and offboarding processes
• Develop internal support standards and self-service resources
• Manage support queues and triage
• Reduce manual workload through automation-driven approaches (if applicable)

Asset & License Management

• Manage software licensing lifecycle
• Oversee IT hardware and accessories
• Handle procurement, vendor coordination, and decommissioning

Compliance & Security Support

• Support Drata agent compliance monitoring
• Lead and maintain MDM device rollout
• Ensure alignment with internal policies and security standards

End User Support

• Provide internal support for software, hardware, and systems
• Support troubleshooting and operational IT requests
• Collaborate with non-technical teams with clear and effective communication

Strategic IT Contribution

• Contribute to the development of Deckard’s long-term IT strategy
• Evaluate risks and system inefficiencies
• Recommend scalable tools, processes, and improvements
• Balance strategic priorities with operational workload

What We’re Looking For

Technical / Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of IT systems and SaaS administration
• Experience with O365, Atlassian, or Google Workspace
• Familiarity with MDM, compliance tooling, or device management
• Ability to troubleshoot user and system issues effectively
• Experience building or maintaining standards, documentation, or governance
