About the Role:
As the Manager of Shoppability Analytics within our Expanded Core organization, you will lead a team supporting analytics across Fetch’s growing portfolio of commerce and shoppable experiences, including Shop, Card, Local Dining, and emerging strategic businesses.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of User Analytics & Insights, you will partner closely with General Managers, Product, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and Analytics Engineering to help teams understand customer behavior, product performance, and business outcomes. You will ensure stakeholders have the insights, measurement frameworks, and analytical support needed to make informed product and business decisions.
This role combines people leadership with hands-on analytical leadership. You will manage and develop analysts, oversee high-priority analytical work, improve measurement practices, and help translate product and commercial questions into clear analytical plans.
You will be accountable for the quality, prioritization, and delivery of analytics within your team’s defined areas while partnering with the Sr. Director and business leaders on broader analytical strategy and portfolio priorities.

Role Responsibilities:

Analytics Delivery & Team Prioritization

  • Lead analytical execution across assigned Shoppability products and business areas, ensuring the team delivers timely, rigorous, and actionable insights.
  • Partner with the Sr. Director and business stakeholders to translate established business priorities into an analytical roadmap for the team.
  • Prioritize analytical requests within the team based on business importance, urgency, analytical complexity, and available capacity.
  • Translate product and commercial questions into structured analyses, measurement plans, and clearly defined deliverables.
  • Ensure analysts connect their findings to customer and business outcomes rather than reporting metrics in isolation.
  • Surface analytical risks, dependencies, and emerging opportunities to the Sr. Director and relevant business partners.
  • Provide recommendations that help stakeholders evaluate product, customer, and commercial decisions within established business strategies.

Business Performance Insights

  • Lead analysis of business performance across assigned areas, including revenue, expense, margin, customer growth, activation, engagement, retention, and relevant unit economics.
  • Partner with Finance and business leaders to support operating metrics, forecasts, recurring business reviews, and performance narratives.
  • Help stakeholders identify the customer and business drivers underlying changes in financial or operating performance.
  • Analyze trade-offs among customer growth, incentive investment, engagement, retention, and profitability.
  • Support evaluation of new commercial opportunities, partnerships, product launches, and investments through structured analysis and clearly articulated assumptions.
  • Ensure recurring business reviews highlight meaningful trends, risks, opportunities, and potential actions rather than simply reporting results.
  • Escalate material changes in performance or analytical findings that may require broader strategic or investment decisions.

Product and Customer Analytics

  • Lead analysis of the customer journey across assigned products, including discovery, eligibility, onboarding, conversion, activation, repeat use, retention, and cross-product engagement.
  • Partner with Product teams to define success metrics, diagnose funnel performance, identify customer friction, and measure roadmap initiatives.
  • Guide development of customer segmentation and behavioral analyses that identify differences in customer intent, value, engagement, and product needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product adoption, customer experience, personalization, and movement across Fetch experiences.
  • Connect product engagement metrics to relevant customer and commercial outcomes.
  • Ensure analytical findings are translated into clear recommendations that Product and business teams can incorporate into planning and prioritization.
  • Partner with analysts and stakeholders to monitor whether implemented changes produce the expected customer and business outcomes.

Experimentation and Measurement

  • Apply and reinforce established experimentation and measurement practices across supported Shoppability initiatives.
  • Partner with Product and Marketing on hypothesis development, test design, power analysis, metric selection, execution, and interpretation.
  • Review experiment designs and analytical plans to ensure they answer the intended business or product question.
  • Help teams evaluate appropriate trade-offs between measurement rigor, speed, cost, and operational feasibility.
  • Support measurement approaches for initiatives where traditional randomized testing is not practical.
  • Translate experiment results into recommendations regarding whether programs, incentives, features, or experiences should be continued, modified, scaled, or discontinued.
  • Capture and share learnings across supported products so teams can apply relevant insights to future decisions.

Data, Reporting, and Analytical Infrastructure

  • Ensure stakeholders have reliable reporting and analytical resources for monitoring product, customer, and business performance.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of KPI dashboards, monitoring tools, recurring reporting, and analytical datasets used by supported teams.
  • Partner with Analytics Engineering and Engineering to identify and resolve data quality, event tracking, business logic, and measurement issues.
  • Establish clear documentation and quality expectations for analytical work produced by the team.
  • Identify data and tracking gaps that limit analysis and partner with technical teams on requirements and prioritization.
  • Improve repeatability and scalability by reducing unnecessary manual reporting and creating reusable analytical approaches.
  • Promote strong use of SQL, visualization tools, experimentation methods, and statistical techniques across the team.

Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Influence

  • Manage, coach, and develop analysts supporting Shoppability products and business areas.
  • Set clear expectations for analytical quality, delivery, stakeholder partnership, communication, and ownership.
  • Review analytical plans, SQL, experiment designs, dashboards, financial analyses, and recommendations produced by the team.
  • Help analysts strengthen product judgment, commercial understanding, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Delegate work based on analyst capability, development goals, business priority, and workload.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching and support analysts in building development plans and progressing in their careers.
  • Partner effectively with Product, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and business stakeholders within assigned areas.
  • Manage competing requests within the team’s scope and escalate broader prioritization conflicts when trade-offs require senior leadership decisions.
  • Create an environment where analysts share context, challenge assumptions constructively, and take accountability for the quality of their work.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of analytics talent as the team grows.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in analytics, product analytics, business analytics, customer insights, strategy, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience managing, formally leading, or mentoring analysts, with demonstrated ability to provide feedback and develop others.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience reviewing analytical work produced by others.

  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing, experiment design, metric selection, and interpretation.
  • Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis, automation, or modeling.
  • Exposure to customer segmentation, predictive modeling, propensity modeling, lifetime value analysis, or causal inference techniques.
  • Ability to translate defined product and commercial questions into structured analytical approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to make recommendations and influence product or business decisions.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related teams.
  • Experience developing or maintaining dashboards, analytical frameworks, recurring reporting, or trusted sources of truth.
  • Strong data visualization and storytelling skills, with experience using tools such as Hex, Tableau, Looker, or Grafana.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
