The Role:

The next step in evolving our shopper journey will be hiring a new Strategy and Operations Sr. Manager. Reporting to our Head of GTM Strategy & Operations, this individual will support and drive predictability, profitability, and accountability with Go To Market teams. We are looking for a strong general athlete to fill this high impact and high visibility role.

Ideally, this person will be based near our workspaces in Boston, New York, or Chicago, but we are a remote flexible workplace.

Scope of Responsibilities:

The Strategy and Operations Sr. Manager will have a day-to-day focus on providing analytical, strategic, and operational support for Fetch’s RevGen team. This person will work cross-functionally with several organizations within Fetch (including Sales, Finance, Product Marketing, Marketing Science, and Product Analytics), with the primary objective of enabling leadership to make analytically driven and strategic operating decisions.

To be successful in this role the individual will demonstrate an interest in driving revenue, be intellectually curious, a fast learner, analytical, comfortable with ambiguity and working independently, able to focus on the details while thinking strategically, and remaining focused on high-impact projects.

  • Serve as a go-to trusted business partner for Food/Bev Alch Sales Team and Sales Leadership
  • Drive operational reviews and rhythm of business, lead business analysis including revenue, customer, and market analysis
  • Drive projects with a data-driven approach to generate analytical insights across market, industry, and advertiser performance
  • Improve operational excellence through identification and execution of initiatives that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business
  • Support cross-functional teams on medium/long-term planning including revenue forecasts, business potential, resourcing requirements, and org design
  • Design and execute on annual planning process in partnership with key cross-functional partners, drive thoughtful strategy and resource budgeting plans (e.g., headcount) across teams
  • Drive Horizontal Planning and Vertical Planning across RevGen to align and execute on key strategic pillars, programs, and initiatives to promote efficiencies and revenue growth
  • Help drive alignment with sales leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Lead and operationalize the annual transfers process to determine the most efficient channels of service for clients
  • Manage the annual budget (credit and opex) for efficient utilization across sales teams to drive business initiatives and revenue programs

Skills and experience we believe you will need for this position:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred with about 4-6 years of work experience
  • Prior work experience involving analytical rigor as typically seen in, but not restricted to, functions like finance, business operations, etc. or industries like consulting, banking, etc.
  • Problem-solving and analysis experience solving business problems (commercial, operational, organizational)
  • Advanced experience in using Excel spreadsheets and Google Sheets for running data analysis and building quantitative models for business decision-making, experience with pivot table-based reporting, using charts for visualization, and use of complex lookup and math functions
  • Experience with Tableau data table setups, filtering, extracts, and data visualization charts
  • Experience presenting business and technical content to peers, stakeholders, and general audiences
  • Experience with Salesforce functions and dashboards
  • Communication experience with story-telling and presentations utilizing tools such as PowerPoint and Google Slides
  • Strong written email communication skills to manage and operationalize large-scale projects across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Experience building and managing relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders
  • Identification and execution of initiatives that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to business or client operations;
  • Experience with leading cross-functional business planning programs to drive quarterly and annual business priorities
  • Autonomous with the ability to project manage across multiple stakeholders in a late-stage startup
