The Role:
- The Sr. Director, Industry, Retail (Mass/Grocery/Convenience) will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for achieving quota by nurturing existing relationships and initiating new relationships among partners in their industry. They will be responsible for managing a team of sales professionals and account managers who are jointly responsible for achieving quota.
- This position will be remote flexible with travel for meetings, industry events, etc.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Manages the identification, creation, and management of key account/business relationships with select partners and prospective partners to offer and/or develop solutions, which may include complementary products/services to produce revenue-generating opportunities for the company.
- Oversee industry sales revenue and progress to quota while providing accurate assessment of progress to Fetch leadership.
- Serve as a player/coach, leading by example through the successful acquisition of Retail clients and management of those relationships.
- With limited oversight and contribution from the General Manager, provide tailored coaching, guidance, and feedback to partner professionals in sales functions and account professionals in account-management functions.
- Direct sales professionals to work efficiently to expand influence across targeted accounts.
- Work collaboratively with senior members of crossfunctional teams including legal, finance, and marketing to drive positive Fetch NPS and risk/relationship management for accounts within the industry.
We know we’re both succeeding when:
- Partner and Account Managers who report into you are meeting or exceeding their key performance indicators and revenue targets.
- You demonstrate a strong understanding of motivations of key partner contacts, including budget allocation and process.
- You’re an expert within the Mass, Grocery, and or Convenience Retail space, and understand key partners, partner competitors, along with developments/trends in the industry and adjacent industries.
The ideal candidate:
- Approximately 6-10 years of directly relevant experience, minimum 2 years experience managing teams.
- Passion for people development, directly responsible for engaging a team to improve their skill sets and facilitate their growth.
- Ability to navigate complex deals, with experience driving solutions outside of the normal campaign cadence.
- Enterprise experience in mass/convenience/and/or grocery retail is a requirement.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Excel.
Compensation:
- At Fetch, we offer competitive compensation packages to the exceptional folks we hire. The base salary range for this position is $140,000-$180,000 (this does not include commission or sales plan incentive funds, which our Sales employees are eligible for). We also offer all employees equity in Fetch, so that everyone can benefit from Fetch’s growth.
