Lockstep Ventures is seeking to add an Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner. They will directly support the Managing Partner to ensure that functional needs are handled seamlessly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and proactive problem-solving skills, and work well across functions in a fun, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the C-Suite by email and phone with internal and external stakeholders including investors, board members, clients, and other partners
  • Organize and coordinate the activities of the C-Suite
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings and conference calls
  • Arrange travel and build out itineraries for travel
  • Maintain a status of calendar activities and important deadlines
  • Prepare daily written and verbal communications
  • Support with events that the team is hosting (Guest lists, venues, outreach, etc.)
  • Support on outreach to investors, partners, and leaders in the space
  • Keep project management software updated and relevant
  • Keep deadlines for projects and tasks team wide
  • Manage and keep CRM updated
  • Build cross-functional internal relationships, representing the C-Suite, including partnering closely with other executive leaders

Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years of administrative support in a professional office environment with a focus on supporting high-level executives and/or private owners
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to importance
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with ever changing needs and under strict deadlines
  • A self-starter with the ability to take initiative on new tasks
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to shift work-schedule, as needed, to accommodate work demands
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Handle highly confidential information and sensitive document preparation with a high degree discretion and confidentiality
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and Gmail
  • Some familiarity with project management tools is a plus (monday.com, asana, etc.)

This role is located in New York City with a hybrid work schedule (2-3 days in office).

For New York City roles:

The base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $85,000 per year and is based on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package.
